The story of Valentina C: who is the founder of the brand?
“My path starts from far away. My studies have led me to graduate in economics, but since I was a child I have been in contact with my father’s company, Camerucci srl, founded in 1978. Before, he made ties. My interest in fashion has started to emerge since I was a child. Slowly, for a series of events, between 2008 and 2009, at the end of my degree course, I started working for my father’s company. So, with my arrival, in addition to ties, we also started studying new products, more aimed at a female audience. In those years we also started producing scarves, expanding into another sector. We were part of Camerucci srl until a few years ago. After that we left for certain circumstances and, in 2017, we founded this new business reality. A reality founded on solid foundations, given the forty-year experience of my family in the sector. In my job I can count on the support of an expert person like my father and an important figure like my brother. On a personal level, moreover, I am the mother of two children, one 4 years old and one 1 year old. In short, I try to reconcile my commitments between family and work “.

What is your personal vision of fashion?
“Fashion should be frivolous, thoughtbreakers, something cheerful that can also be transformed into a game. Getting dressed is one of the first actions of our day. Here, fashion and clothing accompany us in everyday life and throughout our days, which we also deal with based on how we dress. Let’s say that the way you dress is very important for the image you give outside. As a fashion expert I can say that “the dress makes the monk”.
